Glutinous Rice Balls in Ginger Soup $2.50

Glutinous Rice Balls or Tang Yuan, is a pretty traditional and popular dessert among many Chinese. I am no exceptional. I love the peanut filling oozing out when you bite into the one.

If you are also a Tang Yuan lover, don't miss out this Glutinous Rice Balls in Ginger Soup. I am not a huge fan of Ginger, in fact, I avoid all kinds of Ginger product if I can. But this ginger soup do not have that strong gingery taste and smell. It's one which I am able to accept.

One sip of the ginger soup and you will immediately feel a nice warm and slightly spicy sensation down your throat, all the way to your stomach. It instantly warms you up from inside out. A nice soup to have on a cold rainy day!

The dessert comes with 4 rice balls and the big white balls looks so tantalizing. The rice ball with black sesame filling is oh-so good! The slightly sweet black sesame paste oozes out when you bite into it. The fragrance of the black sesame leaves me craving for more. The peanut filling is slightly sweeter but just as good.

This dessert is perfect for those who do not have a sweet tooth!
