I have never had a Cantonese Dumpling before. All I ever had were the usual dumpling my Granny makes or sold outside or the nyonya dumpling which I quite like as well. 

And so the greedy me decided to stretch my belly somemore and give this Cantonese Dumpling a try. Boy was I glad that I tried!

The warm and soft glutinous rice is mixed with a powdery yellow bean paste. This makes the texture very unique and also not as sinful and filling as eating the usual dumpling.

It's a freaking hot day and I have been shopping for hours, squeezing with sticky human beings. I was craving for something icy cold and melt-in-your mouth dessert to give me the fuel needed for the next few hours of shopping, when I remember my all time favourite - Chendol Snow Ice! My-oh-my... Just the thought of it makes me salivate.

Drop by this shop on a weekend and you are expected to wait for a short while for a seat. But rest assured that the (short) wait is well worth it!

Pumpkin cakes. What's so special about it? Well... Nothing special to most people. It's just another type of snack to fill the tummies. I was one of those "most people" till I chanced upon this pumpkin cake. It leaves me craving for more each time I am there and dreaming of those melt-in-mouth pumpkin cakes when I am hungry.
